CED Beefs Up Preparation for AACCUP Accreditation

With a strong belief in building and maintaining high quality academic programs through accreditation, the College of Education (CED), spearheaded by its Dean, Prof. Edgardo H. Rosales, is currently complying with the requirements of the Accreditation Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP).

In line with its application for the re-accreditation of its courses in Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), CED is preparing documents, exhibits and various facilities in ten areas for inspection, namely: Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO); Faculty; Curriculum and Instruction; Students; Reseach; Extension/Community Involvement; Library; Physical Facilities; Laboratories; and Administration.

Working on the AACCUP requirements are committees composed of CED faculty members, headed by the following chairpersons: Prof. Norma C. Conti – VMGO; Prof. Maria J. Tan – Faculty; Dr. Abigail E. Fernando – Curriculum and Instruction; Prof. Miriam Ruth S. Racho – Students; Dr. Avelina A. Pelayo – Research; Prof. Floramie M. Ramiro – Extension/Community Involvement; Dr. Evelina H.
