The College of Nursing partnered with the Center for Continuing Education on Monday, August 4 for its Faculty Enhancement Training that did not only educate the instructors with the new trends in Nursing Education, but has more importantly inspired them to go beyond their ways to reach out to students.

Dr. Rusty L. Francisco, Chief Executive Officer of the Nursing Center for Clinical Laboratory Experience (NCCLEX) was the resource speaker of the afternoon event at Astoria Regency.

He discussed pertinent topics on mastering multiple choice exams for Nursing graduates who will take the Nursing Licensure Examination, harping the Nursing process and integrating the guessing techniques.

Dr. Francisco furthermore taught the faculty members of the college how to analyze different types of questions in the exam.

Apart from readying the instructors for the licensure exam, the guest speaker has also talked on how to treat patients and the like.

Prof. Leila D. Benito, Dean of the college, in a concluding speech for the training, has motivated the instructors to work hard so that CN will soon be at par with the top Nursing schools across the world.
