The College of Communications and Humanities (CCH) was established in September 2010 following the split of the College of Liberal Arts into two, namely: The CCH and the College of Social Sciences (CCS).
Heading the College of Communications and Humanities is its dean, Dr. Ma. Socorro Yvonne H. Ramos.
Vision
The college shall be a center of excellence and Center of Human Resource Development in Communications and Humanities in Western Mindanao, the country and the global community.
Mission
Education in the College of Communications and Humanities is set to prepare individual student in the social world of work, for a better and a wholesome quality of life. It further aims to train him as productive citizen fully aware of his role and participation in the society, globally aware of the issues and concerns which generally affect himself, his country and mankind.
Goals
The general goals of this college to meet the university’s philosophy of education for excellence are to:
- Provide opportunity for students to develop their communication skills and creativity;
- Encourage students’ participation in academic, non-academic and cultural activities;
- Strengthen the cultural, moral, physical and spiritual values.
- Encourage the production of research output in their field of specialization
