A leadership forum titled SPEAK which stands for Student Progressive Empowerment thru Advancement of Knowledge, was conducted on October 4, 2012 at the Juanito Bruno Gymnasium.

The objective of the forum was to engage the youth towards contributing to the change that our country desires to achieve. It was also an invitation to the youth to actively perform their tasks as Filipino citizens, in moving our country forward.

Congresswoman Maria Isabelle G. Climaco-Salazar of District I, Zamboanga City and former Congresswoman Hon. RIza Hontiveros shared relevant thoughts and experiences during the forum.

The event was organized by the Center for Hands of Goodwill in partnership with the Office of Congresswoman Maria Isabelle G. Climaco-Salazar. Almost a thousand students of WMSU participated in the forum. (Mr. Jerrick Gerard Go, WMSU-HANDOG thru WMSU Public Affairs Office)
