INFORMATION BULLETIN ON FREHSMEN ADMISSION THROUGH THE WMSU - COLLEGE ENTRACE TEST

ADMISSION INTO WMSU THROUGH THE WMSU-CET

In its aspiration to achieve and maintain academic excellence and to maximize its limited resources, WMSU requires all students desiring to enroll in its varied undergraduate degree programs in any WMSU campus to take and pass the WMSU College Entrace Test (WMSU-CET).

Every year, there are about eleven thousand students from all over Region IX and the ARMM who intend to enroll in WMSU. Of this number, only about 30% become CET-Qualifiers.

To become a CET Qualifier, you must meet the Overall Availability Percentile Rank (OAPR) cut-off for admission. The OAPR is computed by combining your score in all the five subtests of the CET then this is converted to a Percentile Rank. The OAPR cut-off may vary from year to year.
