Nahudan wins ASEAN Chess Match

We have another WMSU pride.

Eibtizam Nahudan, a 10th grade student of the WMSU Integrated Laboratory School (High School Department), along with the two other girls from Manila, comprising the Philippine Team bested neighboring countries in the ASEAN Region in the 11th ASEAN + Age-Group Chess Championship 2010 and bagged the Gold Medal in the Team Girls under 16.

The Philippine team outdid other teams from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore in the said competition.

Nahudan was under the University Chess Coach Engr. Carlos G. Florendo who went along at the Verona Hall, Travellers Hotel, Subic Bay, Olongapo City where the event took place from June 4 to 13.

Nahudan and company were awarded Certificates of Participation, Certificates of Achievement, and Gold Medallions.
