SEVEN of 139 graduates from Western Mindanao State University’s (WMSU) Special nursing Program are among the 12 topnotchers in the professional licensure examination for nurses conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) last December.
WMSU president Dr. Eldigario gonzales in a communication to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) disclosed the seven topnotchers as: Judith Maely Kong – 2nd place; Maria Belinda Sarmiento – 4th place; Mary Grace Dagalea – 5th; Karen Arroyo – 11th place; Charlette Go – 12th place; Michelle Anastacio – 12th place; and Imelda Quebral – 12th place.
Together they obtained a passing rate of 86.7%. The exams were held last December 11 and 12.
They were among the first batch of 139 special nursing program students of WMSU who graduated last October.
Dr. Gonzales said the “outstanding performance of WMSU’s special nursing program students in the examination reflects the quality of its nursing education and its unwavering commintemt to the training of professional nurses in Mindanao.” (Rey-Luis Banagudos – Public Affairs Office)
