College of Forestry and Environmental Studies

The college of Forestry and Environmental Studies (CFES) offers three (3) undergraduate degree programs that provide technical disciplines needed in response to alarming issues and concerns on environmental and natural resources.

Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF) is a four – year degree program which provides the students with general and thorough background in forestry education. It is designed to carry out public information and education campaign on forestry and forest resource conservation and develops skills in the conduct of related research.

Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry (BSAF) is a four–year degree program which aims to provide the students with general skills on upland farming system practice by the upland dwellers. It also provides technical skills of raising agricultural crops in between or in combination with woody perennials and forest tree crops.
The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) is a four–year degree program which exposes students in an integrated way to environmental processes and phenomena from the perspective of the natural sciences and trains students to utilize tools of science in an interdisciplinary way to address the environmental issues.

 
Graduates of the programs can get involved in research, consultancy jobs, business and entrepreneurship, energy and resource management, planning and design, air and water quality management, waste management, environmental assessment and instructor in the academe.
