University President Dr. Milabel Enriquez Ho, who had to attend to a different gathering of equal importance but sent her message through an audio-video presentation, said that she takes pride to see WMSU researchers come together to share their knowledge, competencies and products of labor to find solutions to the communities’ issues and concerns, and be a vehicle of socio-economic development.

Dr. Chona Q. The 1st regional forum furthermore aims to capacitate ESUs research and development endeavors, publication and intellectual property rights.

The success of the 1st regional research forum is attributed to the OVP RESEL, Research Development and Evaluation Center (RDEC), Research Utilization, Production and Information Dissemination (RUPID), and the different WMSU-ESUs.
