The College of Public Administration and Development Studies on Sunday, November 16, conducted a seminar on Governmental Management at the City Inn Hotel, this city.
The forum aimed to showcase the objectives of the course Seminar in Governmental Management, a terminal course in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. The course integrates all core areas and special fields of public administration.
Four lectures in relation to governmental management were featured in the forum: The Bangsamoro Government by Hon. Pedrito A. Eisma, member of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission; Rights of Indigenous People by Engr. George T. Jocutan, Officer-in-Charge of the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), Zamboanga City Office; Organizational Trust and Employees Morale in the Academe by Mary Anne M. Polestina; and Bangsamoro Basic Law Forum by Hon. Celso L. Lobregat, Congressman-District 1, Zamboanga City.
The event was organized by MPA students, facilitated by the overall chairperson, Ms. Claire Pesebre and course professor, Dr. Carlo Nabo.
Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho, University President, graced the event as she welcomed the guest speaker and participants and inspired them to be efficient public servants.
Present also were Vice Mayor Cesar Ituralde, Councilor Charlie Mariano, IBP President Emil Aquino, ZAMCELCO Manager George Ledesma and other WMSU officials.
