CTE Goals

  • Provide an enhanced curriculum and extracurricular activities that promote academic excellence, global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, inclusivity and sensitivity, and a commitment to promoting peace and addressing global challenges;
  • Produce highly motivated and competent global and future ready teachers who are well-versed in both subject matter and pedagogy and can apply their knowledge and skills to address community needs, promoting sustainable development, peace, and harmony in the region;
  • Establish a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration where students and faculty from various disciplines work together on cutting-edge research projects, initiatives, and courses that embrace technology and innovation to promote holistic learning experiences;
  • Ensure that Teacher Educators stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies, research trends, and technological advancements, aligning with the university’s commitment to excellence in education and research; and
  • Maintain a rigorous quality assurance mechanisms and assessment tools to continuously monitor and improve the quality of education and research at the college.

A. Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education

BCAED Program Objectives

  • Disciplinal Knowledge: Apply evidence-based practices derived from the social sciences and humanities in teaching and learning.
  • Pedagogical Practice: Apply multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in culture, arts and design in the teaching- learning practice anchored on the meanings and values of human creativity in a changing life-worlds.
  • Competency and Proficiency in the Creative Expressions: Demonstrate competence in the planning and development of market and non-market oriented visual arts, music, drama and dance productions in local, regional and global settings.
  • Professional Accountability and Responsibility: Practice professional and ethical standards for teachers as well as principles and guidelines governing arts production, research and publication.

B. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

  • Nagpapamalas ng mataas na antas ng kaalaman sa pagtuturo ng wika at panitikang Filipino.
  • Nagpapakita ng malawak at malalim na pag-unawa at kaalaman sa ugnayan ng wika, kultura, at lipunan
  • Nakagagamit ng iba’t ibang kasanayan at kaalaman sa proseso ng pagtuturo-pagkatuto
  • Nagtataglay ng kaalaman hinggil sa usapin ng kultural at linggwistikong dibersidad ng bansa.
  • Nakapagdidisenyo ng malikhain, inobatibo, at integratibong mga alternatibong dulog sa pagtuturo at pagkatuto
  • Nakagagawa ng pananaliksik ukol sa ikauunlad ng wikang Filipino bilang wikang panturo

d.3 Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics

  • Exhibit competence in mathematical concepts and procedures
