College Goals:

The college shall provide academic excellence in the field of Information and Communication Technology, with emphasis on the following goals:

  1. Produce quality, excellent and environmentally proactive graduates imbued with gender responsiveness.

  3. Partner with national and international industries as an outlet for research development and extension.

Program Objectives/Outcomes:

  • Utilizes the concepts on computing theories and methodologies, and mathematical concepts appropriate to the discipline.
  • Adapts new technologies and ideas in the design, analysis, and implementation of IT-based solutions.
  • Formulates effective solutions to solve complex computing problems that meet the desired needs and requirements under various constraints through proper research and understanding of the problem.
  • Function effectively as a member or leader of a development team recognizing the different roles within a team for the successful completion of a project.

Program Objectives/Outcomes:

  • Develop strong programming skills and the ability to design, implement, and debug computer programs using various programming languages and technologies. 
  • Gain knowledge of the principles and techniques used in analyzing, designing, and documenting computer-based systems to meet user requirements effectively.
  • Understand the fundamental concepts of computer networking, including network architecture, protocols, and security, and demonstrate the ability to configure and troubleshoot network connections. 
  • Acquire skills in designing and managing databases, including data modeling, querying, and administration, using appropriate database management systems.
  • Design and develop dynamic and interactive websites using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side scripting languages, with a focus on usability and accessibility. 
  • Understand the principles of information security, including risk assessment, threat identification, and mitigation, and be able to implement security measures to protect data and systems. 
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, perform system maintenance, and troubleshoot common computer problems effectively.
  • Acquire skills in developing mobile applications for various platforms, such as Android and iOS, using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
  • Develop effective communication and teamwork skills, enabling the ability to work collaboratively, present technical information, and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
