Admission Guide for Prospective Freshmen, SY 2009-2010


New Students

STEP 1. Pay the necessary Fee for the Physical Medical Examination at the WMSU Cashier’s Office. Ground Floor Administration Building, WMSU.

STEP 2. Proceed to the University Health Center, WMSU Main Campus on any date from April 13,- May 29, 2009 Inquire about necessary requirements for Physical/Medical Examination and have your PME. When done secure PME certification,

STEP 3. Go to the College of your choice for the interview (if needed, and/or enrolment on the appointed date given in Table1.

If you get disqualified in the first course you chose, you may proceed to the next college of your choice, provided however, you meet all requirements of your next chosen college.

STEP 4. Go to the college where you qualify and enroll.

NOTE: All NAT passers who desire to take BSN will go through a screening process at the College of Nursing for Physical & Mental Fitness. Only those who are certified physically fit by the college will be allowed to enroll. Schedule for screening will be on May 11-15, 2009.

Requirement for Interview:
   Photocopy of:
      A) Report Card (Form 138)/TOR
      B) CET Individual Report of Rating (CET IRR)

Requirements for Enrolment:
   a). Certified True Copy of Live Birth Certificate (NSO Authenticated)
   b). Original copies of:
        (1) Report Card/TOR
        (2) CET IRR
   c). 2 long brown envelopes w/ 2x2 picture(4 pcs/white background)

It is a University Policy to require all undergraduate level students to wear the prescribed university uniform.

Application for NAT starts on March 2 to 23, 2009

Proceed to WMSU TEC Office, Ground Floor, Research Center Bldg. WMSU Campus, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City. Bring your CET IRR and 2 pcs. Identical 2x2 photos. Test Fee is P 200.00
