WMSU Debuts in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026!

Western Mindanao State University proudly marks another milestone as it makes its debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, securing a place in the 801–1000 bracket worldwide.

Out of 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories, WMSU joins a distinguished global community of higher education institutions recognized for advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through excellence in research, teaching, stewardship, and community engagement.

Among its strongest performances, WMSU achieved remarkable global rankings in three key Sustainable Development Goals:

🌿 SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: 201–300 worldwide

🌱 SDG 1: No Poverty: 201–300 worldwide

🏙️ SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities: 301–400 worldwide
