Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) proudly welcomed President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to the “Bawat Bayan Makikinabang: Zamboanga Peninsula” program, held at the WMSU Gymnasium on June 29, 2026.

The event featured the turnover of Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF) assistance to Zamboanga City and the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay. The initiative benefited barangays and Presidential Scholars throughout the region, bringing government support directly to those who need it most.

WMSU was honored to serve as host for this meaningful program — a reflection of the national government’s dedication to making services and opportunities accessible to every Filipino.
