USC conducts first ever WMSU Students’ Organizations Assembly

To convene all University students’ organization in Western Mindanao State University in promoting eco-friendly environment and to encourage every organization to participate in every University programs and projects, the incumbent Vice President of the University Student Council, Hon. Dinyo S. Ali spearheaded the first ever University Student Organization Assembly held last February 6, 2016 at the University covered court.

Present in the event were the University officials headed by WMSU Prexy Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho and Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Joselito D. Madroῆal, the benefactors and recipients of the materials and equipment and the members of the different various organizations of the University.

Some of the active partners of the University Student Council were the WMSU-Digest, WMSU-Blazer, WMSU-Rotaract, WMSU-UNESCO, Nihon Fure Ai Kai, Alpha Sigma Phi and the College Student Council members from the College of Nursing (CN), College of Liberal Arts (CLA) and the College of Sciences and Mathematics (CSM).

During the assembly, Ali also turned over three water dispensers to CLA, CSM and WMSU San Ramon campus. Two roller trash bins were donated to the University administration in support to the University’s campaign in promoting an eco-friendly program. A set of Mega sound system was also trusted to the Office of the Student Affairs for students’ usage.

Alpha Sigma Phi, an active fraternity of this University also donated trash bins to the University Administration.
Dr. Ho expressed her sincerest gratitude for the students’ continued support to her programs and administration.
In an interview with the present USC Vice President he firmly persuades the Crimson community to support and continue the legacy the administration started. “Nais ko lang hikayatin ang lahat ng Students’ Organizations na supportahan ang programa ng ating Unibersidad. Sana itong unang hakbang ay maipagpatuloy ng susunod na magigng lider ng Student Council, ”says Ali. (Ella Cruz, PAO)
