ILS-Elem Teachers Attend Two-Day Seminar

Elementary teachers of the Integrated Laboratory School (ILS) of this university attended the seminar Revisiting: Educational Taxonomy, Professional Ethics, Lesson Planning and Test Construction the last October 27 to 28, 2010 at Sky Park Hotel, this city.

On the first day, the following topics were discussed: Bloom’s Taxonomy of Education by Dr. Anna Louisa R. Perez; Lesson Planning (Math) Workshop by Mrs. Marites A. Montero; Lesson Planning (Filipino) Workshop by Prof. Mervyn A. Garingo; and Lesson Planning (Science) Workshop by Mrs. Berhana I. Flores.

Ensuing on the second day are the following discussions: Lesson Planning (English) Workshop by Mrs. Marianet R. Delos Santos; Test Construction Workshop by Prof. Analiza T. Maghanoy; and Professional Ethics for Teachers-Civil Service Policies and Rules by Mrs. Vicenta P. Fernando.

After the lectures, there was a presentation of outputs by subject area. There were also sharing periods among the participants before the start of each session.
