Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) is set to introduce an energy fee for its law and graduate programs, following the approval of Resolution No. 139, Series of 2024 by the Board of Regents.
This initiative underscores the University’s commitment to addressing rising energy costs while maintaining and enhancing the quality of facilities and services for graduate students.
Fee Structure:
Starting in the Second Semester of School Year 2024–2025, the energy fee will be ₱1,000.
An increment of ₱250 per semester will be applied for two consecutive school years, as follows:
₱1,250 per semester in School Year 2025–2026
₱1,500 per semester in School Year 2026–2027
The energy fees will be exclusively allocated to cover energy-related expenses and to further improve University facilities and services, ensuring a conducive learning environment for all.
