On January 30, 2025, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), through the initiative of the Office of the Faculty Union, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with City Savings Bank to enhance the financial flexibility of its faculty and administrative personnel.
WMSU President Dr. Ma. Carla A. Ochotorena emphasized that this partnership will support WMSU personnel in achieving their aspirations while promoting effective financial management.
Ms. Mary Joy Bajolo, Sales Officer of City Savings Bank, stated that the bank will offer salary loans with low interest rates and flexible terms to assist employees with their financial needs.
The MOA signing was witnessed by the university’s vice presidents, university officials, representatives from City Savings Bank, and WMSU Faculty Union officers led by Dr. Adrian P. Semorlan.
