Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) has been honored with the 2024 Bronze Award by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). This remarkable achievement was presented at the Intellectual Technology Support Office (ITSO) President’s Summit and General Assembly, held today, April 10, 2025, at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay, Paraรฑaque City.
Our University President, Dr. Ma. Carla A. Ochotorena, was represented by Engr. Arvic Francisco, Coordinator of WMSU’s Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management โ Innovation and Technology Support Office (IPTBM-ITSO), who graciously accepted the award on behalf of the university.
The Bronze Award is a prestigious recognition given to institutions that demonstrate outstanding efforts in promoting intellectual property (IP) education, awareness, and activities, contributing significantly to the development of IP initiatives.
This honor is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire WMSU community, particularly the IPTBM-ITSO under the Research Extension Services and External Linkages family, who have consistently supported these impactful endeavors.
