With immense pride and joy, WMSU President Dr. Ma. Carla A. Ochotorena graced the Turn-over and Inauguration Ceremony of the new Five-Classroom Building at WMSU Diplahan Campus on July 26, 2023.
The project is made possible by the visionary efforts of Deputy Majority Leader Atty. Wilter Yap Palma, Congressman of the 1st District Province of Zamboanga Sibugay.
Atty. Eric Yap Palma, the Municipal Mayor of Diplahan Zamboanga Sibugay, extended his generosity by pledging to donate P800,000 worth of school furniture and equipment, along with a newly constructed canteen for the campus. An ongoing covered court project for WMSU Diplahan Campus is also in the works.
Dr. Byron B. Go Silk, Dean of External Studies, delivered a warm welcome address, expressing gratitude to everyone who made this project possible.
Also, in attendance to witness the momentous occasion were Board Member Marie Yvonne V. Palma, Engr. Hector S. Magaway and Engr. Melvar B. Baroy of DPWH, WMSU Diplahan Faculty Members led by Ms. Carmela Go Silk, staff and students.
