โ€ŽWestern Mindanao State University-College of Nursing has once again raised the red and white banner high after claiming the Championship title for the second consecutive year in the Battle of the Nightingales 2025, an interschool nursing quiz bowl spearheaded by the West Metro Medical Center.

โ€ŽThe competition, held on August 20 at the KCC Mall de Zamboanga Convention Hall, brought together the best nursing students from various colleges and universities in the Zambasulta.

โ€ŽThis victory is WMSUโ€™s third overall championship, solidifying its reputation as a consistent leader in nursing education and academic excellence.

โ€ŽCarrying the pride of WMSU were outstanding students Alkiestra K. Samson, Jenny Lynn U. Balbuena, and Jericho Philip M. Ungab, who showcased brilliance, teamwork, and confidence throughout the competition. Behind their success was the steady guidance of their faculty coach, Murada J. Ismael, whose mentorship and commitment helped shape yet another winning team.
