The Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Championship has long stood as the premier debate tournament of
the region, the 50th Mindanao Parliamentary Debate, hosted by Ateneo Debate Union at Ateneo Davao University last January 16-18, 2025
45 College Teams and 30 High School Teams all over Mindanao, WMSU FJ (Composed of Faindrey Dayaon &Janine Lysa Labao) was able to secure a spot as the 22nd Breaking team proceeding to the outrounds, and WMSU RJ (Composed of Radzmar Nasser & Jayc Tarroza) got 1ST RESERVED BREAKING TEAM making it as the 25th BREAKING TEAM in Mindanao.
WMSU FJ has finally made it until Quarterfinals making it as the TOP 12 (OVERALL) in Mindanao
