On September 8, 2025, the College of Public Administration and Development Studies (CPADS), under the leadership of University President Dr. Ma. Carla A. Ochotorena, underwent the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) evaluation for its Master in Public Administration (MPA) and Doctor in Public Administration (DPA) programs.
The online joint technical panel evaluation was conducted by CHED’s Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD) representatives Mr. Noel Antonio F. Paz and Ms. Lucita B. Mejia, together with CHED-IX Education Supervisor II Mr. Conrad Fruibel M. Quilab and Technical Panel Member Dr. Sanjay P. Claudio.
The panel assessed the programs’ compliance with CHED’s established policies, standards, and guidelines, focusing on program administration, faculty qualifications, curriculum, student services, facilities, and learning resources.
Dr. Sarah S. Taupan, OIC-Dean of CPADS, expressed her gratitude to the joint technical panel, noting that their insights will help further enhance the university’s pursuit of quality assurance and academic excellence.
As CPADS awaits CHED’s official results, it looks ahead with optimism and remains driven by its mission to cultivate visionary and principled leaders who will shape the future of public administration and development. (AIM, PAO)
