With the ongoing typhoons bringing heavy rains, the University Health Services Center reminds everyone to stay vigilant against Dengue Fever. Recent cases of Dengue have been observed among our students, making prevention all the more important.
𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙞𝙥𝙨:
– Keep surroundings clean and free from stagnant water.
– Observe proper waste management to prevent rainwater from being trapped in trash or clutter.
– Cover water containers.
– Use mosquito repellents and wear protective clothing.
– Apply bug sprays in areas/rooms where mosquitoes are common.
– At home, screens and nets may be installed.
𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙚:
– Sudden high fever
– Severe headache and eye pain
– Muscle and joint pains
– Skin rashes or redness
– Bleeding gums or nose
– Abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting
