On March 10, 2026, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), in partnership with BP Diagnostic and Clinical Laboratory, conducted an Annual Physical Examination (APE) for university employees through PhilHealthโ€™s YAKAP Program. The initiative aimed to promote the health and well-being of university personnel by providing accessible and essential medical check-ups.

Through the activity, employees were given the opportunity to undergo a series of basic medical assessments and laboratory examinations, including urinalysis, complete blood count (CBC), and X-ray.

In an interview, Dr. Joselito Madroรฑal, Vice President for Administration and Finance, emphasized the importance of the activity, noting that the program allows employees to become more aware of their health status and take necessary steps to prevent illness.
