Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) strengthens its commitment to fostering a safe, secure, and prepared learning environment through the Seminar on School Safety Under Threat: Active Shooter Preparedness and Response Training, held on August 24, 2026, at the WMSU CTE Social Hall.

Anchored on the theme, “Prepared to Protect, Trained to Respond,” the training equipped participants with essential knowledge, situational awareness, and practical preparedness to respond appropriately during critical incidents. It emphasized the importance of readiness, coordinated action, and informed decision-making in helping protect lives and maintain safety across the school community. (MKMQuin, PAO)
