WMSU ADVANCES ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY THROUGH BALIK-SCIENTIST LECTURE SERIES

Western Mindanao State University, through the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM)-Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with the Research Development and Evaluation Center (RDEC)

hosted Balik-Scientist Dr. Elmer-Rico E. Mojica for a three-day lecture series held on August 5–7, 2026 at the CSM Conference Room and CSM 206 Lecture Room.

The sessions brought together select faculty members and BS Chemistry students for an in-depth exploration of contemporary analytical chemistry and its applications.

Day 1: Analytical Methods in Environmental and Biological Systems

Day 2: Chromatographic Applications in Food Science and Agriculture

Day 3: Advanced Nanomaterials and Characterization Techniques

The lecture series provided participants with valuable insights into analytical methods, chromatographic techniques, nanomaterials, and modern characterization tools, highlighting their relevance to environmental, biological, food, agricultural, and materials research.
