This collaboration aligns with PhilHealth’s mandate to provide accessible and affordable primary care services for all Filipinos, regardless of social status, while alleviating the financial burden of medical expenses.
The event centered on the PhilHealth Konsulta Program, which stands for Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama. This initiative offers a comprehensive health package aimed at delivering quality and accessible primary care services. Mr. Nadzmier A. Sajili, Head of the Local Health Insurance Office, delivered a heartfelt message of acknowledgment and conducted a brief orientation on the benefits and features of the Konsulta Program.
The program’s success was underscored by the registration of 577 WMSU faculty members and administrative personnel with their respective healthcare providers, surpassing the target of 500 participants. This achievement reflects the strong commitment of the WMSU community to prioritize health and wellness.
The university expresses its deepest gratitude to its beloved University President, Dr. Ma. Carla Altea Ochotorena, whose approval and support made this event possible. WMSU also extends heartfelt thanks to the dynamic Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nursia M. Barjose; Chief of Staff, Dr. Berhana I. Flores; Faculty Union President and Regent, Dr. Adrian P.
